Positioned between the Newport and Balboa piers, this spacious, expertly maintained 3 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront vacation home is the king of the Balboa boardwalk.

Able to sleep 10 comfortably, this expansive 3 bedroom unit boasts three queens and two twin beds, as well as a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Do you have more than 10? Big or small, your group can't help but enjoy the stunning views from your front balcony, and the immediate access to the boardwalk, beach and beautiful Pacific ocean.

Once on the boardwalk, you'll find that activities and dining options abound. There's no need to wander too far from home for entertainment, shops, and beach fun if you head up to the Newport Pier. Heading down to the Balboa Village Fun Zone, you can find boat rentals, trips to Catalina island, whale-watching tours, fishing trips, or the old-fashioned arcades next to the Ferris Wheel. The famous Balboa Island Ferry departs from the Fun Zone area every 10 minutes, taking you across the Newport Harbor to scenic Balboa Island in a short 5-minute ferry ride through a myriad of marine life and luxury yachts. Take pleasure in fine dining at the many highly-rated restaurants in the area, or simply turn on the gas BBQ and savor your own home-cooked gourmet meal.

Sight-see and play during the day, then come back and relax on your patio to enjoy that spectacular ocean sunset.

Consumable supplies such as dish soap, dish washing detergent, trash bags, paper towels, coffee filters, etc are provided for the kitchen and toilet paper, hand soap, body wash and shampoo/conditioner are provided for each bathroom. The provided quantities are meant to cover the typical needs of 10 persons for a one week stay. Other toiletries such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, mouth wash, lotion, shaving cream, etc are not provided.

1 car parking in carport, suitable for SUVs. No air conditioning. Linens provided. No smoking, in the unit or on the premises. No pets. Minimum primary renter age of 25. Photo ID required. Book new, before the week you want is gone! 7 day minimum for Christmas holiday season. Summer 2017 is Friday to Friday only.

    Bedspreads old and dirty. Bad quality mattresses. Noisy guests downstairs in the bottom unit with children who screamed through the night and should have been kicked out based on house rules. Bare minimum amenities. No TV in any rooms expect main room. The thermostat didn't work. They have wifi but block the internet access. No lamps on bed stands. Dirty carpets in bedrooms. They make you strip your bed before leaving, and at these nightly rates, they should do that themselves. No table or chaise lounges on patio, just cheap plastic chairs. Front door handle was loose and only the deadbolt locked, and door handle lock broken.

    We absolutely loved our stay! To be honest, I was hesitant to book the property after seeing the dated bed linens in the photos because we prefer to stay at more modern places. We decided to look past it and I'm so happy we did! The property manager was great to deal with, the place was spotless and the kitchen was well supplied. Being on the second floor, you have the perfect view with so much more privacy than the first floor. Although I would still love to see a few d├ęcor updates, we would love to stay here again!

    We rented both units. They were very clean upon arrival! The location was great! Met the owners from upstairs. They were friendly and helpful. They even cut up all the boxes we brought from Costco with food!

    It turns out the owner lives upstairs and is constantly watching resulting in frequent phone calls from the management company which is pretty unnerving. The house was out of basic toiletries after one day and did not include things that places usually do like soap.

      Hello, and thank you for your review. In addition to the Lodging Contract there are written House Rules signed by guests and posted in the unit. When the House Rules are not followed then the guest may be contacted by management or by the owners who do live on the third floor. During your stay we contacted you about two issues: a) a neighbor's complaint about excessively loud music coming from your unit, b) your bringing a dog to the unit, which was not authorized, as pets are not allowed. Regarding the supply of basic toiletries, for your stay, a total of 4 rolls of toilet paper and 2 bottles (~6 oz each) of hand soap were provided. Other toiletries such as body soap, shampoo, conditioner, tooth paste, etc were not provided at this property during this period. Due to your and other guest requests for toiletries we now provide additional rolls of toilet paper, and also provide body wash and shampoo/conditioner. Other toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, lotion, shaving cream, etc, are not provided.

    We stayed at Wave Curl in July and loved it! Perfect location, spacious and clean. We were able to find everything we needed in the updated kitchen and we were provided with plenty of linens and towels. The house is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the pier.The large second floor balcony provided the perfect view of the beach and the ocean.
